| Executive Director's Message |
Dear Friends,
The past year has been a productive and exciting one - I encourage you to read within and visit our website for highlights and ways to become more involved in our community. Make a donation, volunteer, or join the Association and be a part of Oklahoma City's premier arts district. The Paseo is where art and history come alive!
In 2009, we engaged our community with dynamic events and programs, and helped young and established artists through a variety of projects. Whether it was strengthening our participation in the Paseo Neighborhood, growing our Education Programs such as Art After School with Edgemere Elementary, hosting art exhibits or working tirelessly to bring the community the Paseo Arts Festival, we remained focused and committed to working collaboratively and efficiently to build a stronger community.
Recently, the Paseo Arts District introduced a wonderful community theatre, "Ghostlight Theatre Club," several new galleries and a new restaurant, "Picasso Cafe." As we enter 2010, artists and visitors will continue to experience the First Friday Gallery Walks, the Oklahoma Artist of the Year Awards, the Paseo Arts Festival, continued educational programs for children and adults, and much, much more.
As we face one of the most uncertain economic times in our history, I remind you that your support is more important than ever. Please consider donating $20, $50 or even $100 to assist the Paseo Arts Association fulfill our mission: "The Paseo Arts Association seeks to preserve The Paseo, Oklahoma City's vibrant living community of artists, as a historic arts district and to enrich, educate, entertain, and inspire through the arts."

Paseo Arts Association (PAA) is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 artist-run organization that seeks to foster and maintain an environment for artistic growth in the community. PAA provides the opportunity for cultural exchange between artists and the public through events, performances, festivals, and educational programming. Activities take place in the Historic Paseo Village, NW 30th Street & Dewey in Oklahoma City.
Membership is open to everyone. |
