2008 PASEO ARTS ASSOCIATION

The Paseo Artists Association is pleased to present these awards at the 2008 Oklahoma Artist of the Year Awards Ceremony:

Past President, Tom Lee, will also be recognized during this time for his service and dedication to the Paseo Artists Association.
The Paseo Artists Association (PAA) seeks to foster and maintain an environment for artistic growth in the community. Through the development of a new program, Oklahoma Artist of the Year Awards, the PAA can continue to achieve its goals by honoring artists in Oklahoma. The Awards were created to recognize those individuals that have contributed to the artistic creativity and well being in our state. The PAA believes these awards will serve to inform and educate the public about our rich art history and contemporary visual arts culture. Our organization is concerned with the future of the arts -- for the artists, patrons, supporters, teachers, authors, collectors, and appreciators of art. By recognizing artists through these awards, we hope to stimulate dialogue between artists and supporters of the arts and enhance the awareness of the importance of the arts in our state for decades to come.
Artist of the Year Award
