Theme
Inspired and sponsored in part by artist Michi Susan, this Paseo Artists Association juried exhibition CHALLENGES artists to create mixed media, three-dimensional boxes or work with a “box” theme.
Specifications
Open to all 3D work of any media; the work must include at least two disparate media. The size limitation is up to 15” in any direction. Size limitations will be enforced. Work presented for the exhibition must be ready for display on wall or pedestal.
Eligibility
Artists in Oklahoma 18 years and older.
Awards
Best of Show $200
Two awards of merit at $100
Two Honorable Mention Awards at $50
Juror will assign awards.
Juror
Steve Liggett is an interdisciplinary artist and the Artistic Director of “Living Arts of Tulsa’” and manager of “Liggett Studio.” Both have the mission of ‘presenting and developing contemporary art forms in Tulsa.’ Liggett has been at the forefront of bringing national and international artists to Oklahoma who explore all aspects of “history-in-the-making” art.
Entry Procedure
Entries will be selected from ACTUAL work. Artist may submit up to two pieces for a non-refundable fee of $15 for Paseo Artists Association members and $20 for non-members.
Work is to be delivered to Paseo Art Space, 3022 Paseo, Oklahoma City, between Wednesday, October 29 and Saturday, November 1, noon-4 pm. Work not juried into the exhibition must be picked up Thursday, November 6 or Friday, November 7, noon-4pm. You will be notified by email or phone.
Sales
PAA retains 30% commission on all works sold. Price accordingly. All work must be for sale.
Liability
All reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of the work in our care. PAA nor any agent will be responsible for any damage or loss. Entry to the exhibition constitutes agreement to all conditions of this prospectus.
